IPTV on Android phone and tablet
On Android you simply install IPTV players from the Google Play Store. The best free options: IPTV Smarters Pro, XCIPTV and OTT Navigator. Works with Xtream Codes or M3U.
Set up in three steps
- Install an app, for example IPTV Smarters Pro or XCIPTV.
- Open the app → choose Xtream Codes and enter your details.
- The channels load; add the EPG link for the TV guide.
Cast to your TV
With Chromecast or Google TV you can send the stream from your phone to the TV. Start the stream and tap the cast icon in the app.
Common problems
- App not compatible? Some IPTV apps require Android 8+. Check your Android version under Settings → About phone.
- No picture? Turn on the software decoder in the player.
- Battery draining? IPTV streaming uses a lot. Close unused apps.
