TCL = Android TV or Google TV
Almost all TCL smart TVs run on Android TV or the newer Google TV. Advantage: full Play Store, so installing IPTV is simple and free.
Step 1: Install the app
- Open the Google Play Store on your TCL TV.
- Install e.g. TiviMate, IPTV Smarters Pro or XCIPTV.
Step 2: Link your subscription
- Open the app and choose Xtream Codes login (recommended) or M3U URL.
- Enter the details from your IPTV provider.
- Wait for the channels to load. 📺
Step 3: Set it up smartly
- If you get buffering, increase the buffer in the app settings.
- Mark favourite channels for quick access.
- Use a network cable if your WiFi is weak.
Common TCL mistakes
- App freezes while loading: remove and reinstall the app.
- No EPG: fill in the XMLTV link or log in with Xtream Codes (EPG then comes along).
- Play Store not found: older model? Check whether your TCL is Android TV via Settings → About.
