Setting up GSE Smart IPTV: complete manual (2026)

What is GSE Smart IPTV?

GSE Smart IPTV is a popular IPTV player, best known on iPhone, iPad and Android. The app is free to install and supports both Xtream Codes and M3U playlists. Ideal if you want to watch on your phone or tablet.

Installing GSE Smart IPTV

1. Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
2. Search for GSE Smart IPTV and install the app.
3. Open the app and accept the terms.

Adding IPTV with Xtream Codes

1. Tap the menu icon (three lines) in the top left.
2. Choose Remote Playlist → Add.
3. Choose the Xtream Codes tab.
4. Enter the server URL, username and password you received from us.
5. Give the playlist a name (e.g. Pro IPTV) and save.
6. The app now loads your channels and movies/series.

Adding IPTV with an M3U link

1. Menu → Remote Playlist → Add.
2. Under M3U URL, paste the playlist link you received.
3. Save and wait until the list has loaded.

Common problems

Channels not loading

• Check that the details are exactly right (no spaces).
• Restart the app.
• Check your internet connection.

No sound or picture on some channels

GSE uses its own video player. While watching, tap the screen → the player icon in the top right and choose the internal player instead of the system player.

EPG (TV guide) not working

The playlist settings usually contain an EPG link. Check that it has been filled in and refresh the playlist.

Alternatives
